I would discourage having anyone come to the house to tint your windows. You want a very clean environment, with proper lighting, large pieces of glass to cut the tint on, and all the other tools. The Vette is tricky enough with all the dot matrix and I would not want it done by someone working out of their truck with the bare essentials, the car is more difficult then most.
with above. I have a tinting business and you will get a better job taking it to their business to get it done. Just do some research to be sure they know what they are doing on the vette. Good luck.
Side windows aren't a real big deal, are they? I've tinted cars before, and I would like to replace the current tint I have with some really dark tint. Also, my tint is scratched inside and would like to replace. The side windows on the C6 are pretty straightforward...correct? Roll of tint, a very sharp razor, a spray bottle with a few drops of soap and a squeegee and I think it shouldn't be too hard.

Side windows will need a little pre-forming. If you have experience with that, should be no problem. Back glass is a different story.

I assume you're talking about using a heat gun and "spreading" the tint out to meet the curvature of the window?
In other words, I wet down the outside of the window and then place the tint (with peel off side facing out) on the outside, squeegee it to smooth, use the heat to preform and then use the exacto to cut? I'd probably give myself 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch on the bottom to allow the tint so slide a little below the tip of the window. Haven't done it in a while, but is that pretty much it?

I believe you got it sir. Although, you are shrinking the excess instead of "spreading" it out. Just take your time and it will come back to you. If you have any trouble, send me a pm and Ill give you my number and walk you through it. Good luck.
