Well after about wrecking the car right after picking it up I got her home and got some pics in the garage today. It was still dusty(shop is down a gravel drive) which shows in some of the pics, it's not poor painting or defective areas. The front bumper is all I did to replace a deer hit on my stock bumper. The full ZR body kit is available for sale in the for sale section. The seller is Quik Z06.
I was happy with the result, as you can see the bumper was able to be made to match the stock lines very well. My body shop guy had to use the lower section of my stock bumper to be able to match everything up underneath just like stock. He could have got rid of the brake ducting and air ducting to make it work but I definitely wanted to retain those functional aspects as well as the sealed underneath area. Had he not used part of my stock bumper it would have had an open area that could get caught on a curb or parking block and then rip the bumper off backing up. He does all custom and restoration work so that helped for him to work through any minor issues on the install. The last pic I took to show what he did to assure the mesh doesn't get loose as it isn't secured all that well. You can't tell unless you are as close as I took the pic and have a light and camera flash to light up the stock grill behind.
In the end I saved a considerable amount of money over a similar bumper because even though the install cost was more the bumper price was so much less. Anyone can feel free to contact me via pm for the number of my body work guy, as he can give info on any install issues and how to get around them.
A few actually taken outside in the few minutes between snow and rain!
Looks good but the crossed flags emblem look a little further down on the nose than a stock Z06.
Yeah, with no holes there he had to pretty much guess where they should go and chose the point where the scoop starts. If it really bothers me, and it doesn't now, I can always have it moved up when I have it in there for the Hi-tech vented hood/halo painted gloss black done. The body guy is really good on pricing.
ive been really wanting to see how that bumper looks. can you take some pics of it from a further view?
I will as soon as the weather allows. It has been raining/snowing since several hours after I got it home. As soon as it dries up I will get it in the driveway and snap a few shots to add.
It would surely look even better if I got the splitter as well but the way my driveway and area is around here the thing would have been toast in no time.

My installer (Chevy Dealer) did the same thing with my Sic Z Style bumper... Hmmm
I debated that but the way my driveway and parking lots are around here it would have been scraping constantly and most likely would have ended up damaged/cracked/scraped and looking like crap.
