Transparent top
I just bought a brand new transparent top from a fellow forum member.
I love it. It makes the car feel completely different inside. I kept wanting to look up on the way home.
I will post some pics later as I am getting some new calipers from Mike the PowderCoater as well.

got mine for Christmas.. got to drive the car two weeks before it "went to bed" after a big snow storm and major road treatments.

Yep, just like it. I semi remember when you posted. What do you clean yours with.
I just got a Griots DA Polisher and I am going to get my car all polished up. My car is silver so it won't be as deep as your black.
I can drive my car year round down here in SC.

my suggestion is to be very careful about what you use on the transp. top. I believe it's got a coating on it that you don't want to remove and some chemicals have an effect on it, too. should be some reference to what not to use in owners manual. def nothing gritty. I luv transp. tops.

I gambled and bought a transparent roof on Ebay over a year ago. The seller was in the shipping business and created his own crate to send it. (Saved the box because it worked so frickin' well.) Haven't put the color roof back on since!

The transparent top is a must have. It changes the whole driving experience. I purchased mine as soon as I bought my new Vette. It cost me $1,100 new. I bought a GCA top storage bag to put my painted top in it, and I can't imagine I'll ever use the painted top again. The transparent top is also a bit lighter, making the R & R easier too.
