I have them on my 07 A&A supercharged car. I have long tubes and no cats and it drones like a son of a beeotch! 6th gear is useless because the drone is so bad at cruising speeds. (unless I'm doing 100MPH). Thay do sound good when you hammer on it though.
I have the American Thunders on my 05 A4 .They have very little cabin drone and sound great at idle (old Muscle Car sound). They have a deeper tone and are less restrictive than the ones from the factory.

I removed my Flowmasters and went back to stock. Yep, they sounded nasty alright......but the drone at cruising speed was simply unbearable. Was tired of speeding up and slowing down just to break out of the 'drone rpm'. I wish you better luck.

Even if the drone doesn't bother you.... the fit and install will. Major PITA. Even after tack welding (a must due to cheap clamps and no slits in the intermediate slip over pipes to tighten) They did not stay in place and would bang into the frame on sharp turns (less than 1/8" clearance between passenger side over the axel and frame). You get what you pay for.

I had the American Thunder Flowmasters. I loved the deep throaty sound, but my head got tired of the drone. You can control it somewhat with the paddles, but eventually I got tired of it and switched to the Corsa Sport exhaust. Love this one. It's not as deep and throaty, but sounds great at WOT, and no drone whatsoever. The Flows may be different with an M6, not sure. David

Another good point! They do fit like $hit too! Do yourself a favor and buy another makers exhaust.
