Well since winter has settled in the Berkshires my vette is ready for it's long winters nap! Ahhhhhh I really do hate winter BTW....
I'm wondering what mod projects my other cold weather friends have planned? It's a great time to work on the car if you have some heat and space to work on the car. Fortunately I have a 1500 sq ft heated garage with a separate shop. So lots of room to putz around with the car when I'm bored. I like it because I never feel any pressure to get something done immediately.. when I'm sick of working on it I just let it sit until I'm in the proper mood.
So guys/gals what might you have planned to do over these long winter BORING months to enhance your vette for the Spring? Yes there are those lucky folks that enjoy more temperate climates and others that simply run their vette all year regardless of winter conditions.
I'm really interested to those people that store their vette but have things they plan on doing this winter??
The 3 projects that I have in store is to install my Vararam CAI, and the other is a little more work intensive; removing my interior and installing the insulating kit. I have some RPI covers to install in the engine compartment, and getting my hood liner painted by an artist.
It's all good as long as it gets finished by April 1.
Did the Pfadt kit over Labor Day because I could not wait for winter. Should not have done that, because that forced me into a Wilwood brake kit and SKF bearings install. Bearings are done, brakes tomorrow...
i was gonna do headers cats x and the insulation sound deadening stuff as well as porting the intake and throttle body. I couldnt wait and already got that done. I'm thinking about tearing the trans down just to have something to do
