Basically, it is two exposures done on a tripod. One with the hood closed and one with it open. Then you put the closed shot on top of the open shot in PHOTOSHOP and give it a 50% transparency. Lots of little adjustment stuff like erasing the open door or hood and you can also erase lightly the top layer til you get the effect you want.
Camera angle is very important to get the best effect.

I did not know you could do that. I just used a magic camera.

Dang, I just ordered Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
I couldn't justify the CS3 for cost and my computer skill level and patience learning such techy software. Can I do this with Elements?
