matte black c6

hey guys i have my vette for 6 months now and it is white i want to change it to matte black what do you think?? if you have any pics it would be great.

I've seen a matte black Z06 and it was awesome. There's several threads with photos on the forums. Try doing a search.

Plus if you clean it to much it will shine. I've seen a matte black GTR and actually like it, looked real mean. Would I own a car this color ...no.

Really nothing new. Matte painting of cars has been around for years and is still popular. We use to call them "Rat Rods"

Back in 1961 I had a 1953 Ford that I had painted with a black matte primer. It was popular at the time along with "Nose and Decking" as well as to "shackle(sic)". More rare was to use a red matte primer. Oh, and cut out hood louvers!
