Find the section in your manual for reading lamps and you will find the following:
"An ambient light is located in the passenger sun visor
clip. This light stays on while driving to keep the
cabin from being too dark."
It was called a wash light. The light is actually amber. Worth noting in anticipation of the next question that may arise is that the feature was deleted in February of 2008, on the 2008 model year cars.

If you have a 2009 (or 2010) ZR1 (just checked your profile, sorry) not only do you not have the light, it also isn't in your owners manual. As noted above, the light was deleted during the 2008 model year so for 2009 it has vanished all together.
