Default Whats the difference?

This may be a dumb question but here it goes...

Is there any difference in JSB and the ZR1 blue calipers? To me they appear the same but I hear JSB calipers and ZR1 blue calipers. I'm wanting to get mine powdercoated soon.

Thanks

No difference. The ZR1 blue in the calipers is JSB.

I'm going to have to create some doubt or maybe just confusion. I don't believe they are the same but............

Anyway, per Gene Culley the code for ZR1 Blue caliper paint is #E88860788, #22U-482P, Tacoma Blue, Code 22U.

The JSB paint code is 85U.

So, I don't know for sure. Plus Corvette Pilot said he has the ZR1 Blue for powdercoating but didn't mention anything about it being the same as JSB. ????

Good post, thanks Rick. That is intersting and does present some confusion for me. I prefer to go with your information at this point. My belief is that the difference in paint code is more formulation related (caliper temperature vs. color) but with this conflicting information I can't be sure. I was told that they are the same color previously.

Snap! It is quite confusing because they certainly look close. I just don't want to get some ZR1 calipers and the paint be off from my JSB car.
