Ya' know, that's a good reminder to check the wipers that I have used only a few times in 5 years. They usually sit in the garage under a cover, but they are most likely dried out and should be replaced with new ones.

It has been that way since the first C5 rolled off the line in '97 up to the latest 2013. Not sure why it is designed that way, but it is and has been for a long time. You get pretty good at picking it up with one hand while wiping the windsheld under it with the other hand...
