tiny rocks
Hi Guys
Just got home with my new purchase...2009 vert..triple black Z51
Can someone tell me how to clean out the creases just behind the driver/passenger door...just above the rockers.
Seem to see some very small rocks stuck in the crease and cannot pop em out. Can I remove something to get these out?
Thanks guys.

water will rinse some out but I do not advise trying to force them out....

Pull your rear wheel, and wheel housing shield and there is a bolt you can undo and the fender will flex slightly so you can clean it out.

I know this might sound crazy but it worked for me, took a long nose pliers & pinched / crushed the little pebbles, they simply desintigrated, it works just be cautious!

I know this is going to sound stupid, but it works. Just take your hand and hit the panel, don't have to hit it very hard. Rocks and sand will fall out.

I have used a dental pick on a few that were stuck pretty good. I have not had this issue very often but it is reported here by many.

You can remove the fender well and add weather stripping to resolve the problem.
