How do you store your 2nd top?
I have seen a couple of bags or hangers, but don't know which way is best. What's your experiences with one or both of these ways and where did you purchase? I do not have room in my home, so it will have to be hung in some fashion in the Vette garage.
Thanks in advance,
Billy

No room under either bed and our living room is an open design so there's a walkway behind the couch. So unfortunately those ideas won't work for me. Thanks anyway.

I just use an old blanket wrapped around it, and hung up on the wall using bike hooks. Of course living in earthquake country, I also have bungee cords to secure it better.

Mine is in a GCA storage bag, sitting on the floor, leaned up against the wall, in the back of my clothes closet, behind my shoes. I doesn't take up much space at all, and there is 0 chance of it getting damaged. Out of sight, out of mind.

On my 93 I stored the solid top underneath the bed till one day I discovered the Cat pee'd on it so I built a shelf in a closet and stored it there. Necessity is the Mother of Invention

Mine is wrapped tightly in plastic (to keep bugs out). I have two hooks in the garage that it hold it against the wall. Bubble wrap around the already padded hooks prevent excessive pressure from the hooks.
I've never used the solid color top. I should probably just sell it.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy 2 bike hangers. Mount one upside down and the bottom one ride side up ( they are shapped like a "u" ). I put pipe insulation on mine. Wrap top in plastic or blanket and slide in. No way to fall. I need to get you a pic.....I know this thread is worthless without pic

I would love to have a pic of this. This sounds like an inexpensive an great way to store it.
PM me with a pic if you get one.

I use 4 hooks screwed to the wall from Lowe's, 2 heavy duty on the bottom and 2 medium duty on the top. The top turns to "unload" and then turns back to "lock".
Keep the top wraped in soft fabric. Seems to work for $2.00. Be sure to put the hooks in the studs.
