Cleaning front windshield
How are you guys cleaning the inside of your front windshield near the dash?
Short of taking the window out to get rid of the streaks down there what can I do?
Ive seen the goofy product at The store that is supposed to reach down there but what are you guys doing?

I use the Invisible Glass wand on the lower portion of the windshield. Works pretty well, just don't let the microfiber cover get too wet as it will cause streaks.

it's 1) contortionist tactics, 2) griot's thing or 3) "as seen on tv's" thing which I just saw for about 9.99. well maybe exactly...

Same thing Griot's Garage sells. Google Glassmaster Pro and you can buy it much cheaper than what Griot's charges.

Hate to admit it, I use it too, but it does work well and as advertised.

I also use the Invisible Glass...got it at WalMart for $14. I normally would never buy something so silly and gimicky but I can't stand the haze on the inside of the glass when driving into the sun....works perfectly.
An added benefit is the ability to get in and clean around the radar detector and mirror easily.

How about a paint stirrer wrapped in a cotton towel.

Only a "veteran Corvette" guy like you, Doug, would think of the simple solution to a problem!
Me, I'm just a contortionist. Just can't bring myself to spend that $9.99, $12 or $14....

I do the same but use a microfiber towel with Invisible Glass. Works like a charm.
