I just ordered the newer style CF OEM console for my 07 Z, what are my options for the IC pod's? I'm thinking they will look out of place if I don't dress them up too.
TKO productions refinised ours along with some other pieces. They do a great job!

I went with this from DSVettes and couldn't be happier.
I can see why... DSVette's is some serious stuff. Here's my interior
I love to 08/09 OEM console and how it will update my 07 interior, but I'm not sure I want leather on those parts. But you do give me something to think about.
Since I went with all ebony on the leather-covered pods, they don't stand out but rather simply blend in with the rest of the dash. The color and texture are the same as the adjacent dash padding. Of course, if a person wanted to make them jump, he could use a contrasting color for the leather and/or stitching.
I did the carbon bezel from TKO..Beautiful piece. I also had him do the passenger vent to match..Looks good. My only problem was it took nine weeks to get the parts back..Hopefully he has corrected that...
How do you fit these and how much do they cost? Great look!
It's actually a pretty simple mod. DSV starts with a complete factory instrument cluster bezel. This single unit consists of both button pods and the plastic trim that connects them (the area where the engine start button and dash light dimmer switch are). They then cover the plastic button pods with stitched leather in your choice of colors (for the leather and the stitching). They send you the entire unit. To install, it's easy to remove the existing bezel and pop in the new one. Forum buddy Paul Pearson (talon90) has some excellent step-by-step instructions on his web site, complete with illustrations. I went into the job not having a clue how to do it; by following Paul's instructions, it ended up being pretty easy.
If I'm not mistaken, the leather-trimmed bezel ran around $295 from DSVettes (+ the return of my original bezel as a core). It's definitely not cheap but the quality of workmanship on the DSV piece is first-rate, their customer service is second to none, and the improvement to the interior is substantial. I'd do it again without hesitation.
