I have to admit, I'm very partial to the stock polished C6 wheels. When I ordered my new 2010 a couple months ago, I was disappointed they were no longer available. I had to settle for the chrome finish.

If you go with deep dish wheels, they definitely look different when in motion.
Obviously, if you go with a different color wheel, that'll make a big difference too.
Besides, when you're sitting at a stop light, you want to look GOOOOOOOD.
From performance standpoint, if you change to wider wheels -> wider tires -> more traction. That's the only reason I am gonna change mine, I kinda like the factory five spokes.

Agreed. Unfortunately, my circumstance was a little different. Thieves got me about 3 weeks after having the car.
Ended up going with a set of chrome ZR1 reps and a chrome set of Z06's (which are up for sale if anyone is interested). I also added a dvr w/ network capabilities, some camera's and high density motion lighting around the premises as well.
Anyway back on subject, I like the way these ZR's look both sitting still and in motion.
Might be all about how it looks when you are waiting for that red light to change to green? Same as wife waiting for hair to color, nails to shape & color, make up? -can't see but makes you feel good!
You don't need new wheels, the old ones work just fine
You also don't need a Corvette, a little Honda would get you where you are going.
But, she doesn't need new shoes, clothes, jewelry, etc........ she can use her old stuff.
Or man up and go get wheels you want.
