Default Battery float charger ?

I started the car without unpluging the charger from the outlet. I don't know if it is still ok. The red light is still on and it seems to be working. Anyone know if that would ruin the charger?

Your fine, if anything you drained the battery some by starting it then the charger added more charge like it was supposed to.

I fried one like that, it was a 30 buck sealed unit, I only buy the cheap 10 buck ones from harbor freight anymore and remember to take it off before I start the car.

If you have a meter check the battery voltage in about a week and see if it is holding the charge, if not toss it and buy a few at harbor freight, if you trash one of those it dosn't feel as bad.

If you aren't going to drive the car, then its better not to start it at all. Letting the engine idle in the garage is better not done at all.
