This car was bought as a theft recovery. It was totally stripped. No drivetrain, no interior, nothing. This is an example of what can be done with a salvage car. It's been a great car with zero issues. My dad and I built it from scratch. It's a low mileage (5k miles) Z51 widebody. While this route isn't for most people, it worked out great for me and I love it. Many thanks go out to Gene Culley and company for the help with parts. I have to say thanks to RLSEBRING for his help with some parts and info as well.
Good for you! I take it you've ended up spending a lot less than buying a complete used car? What year is it? Did you stick with the same year's engine? Maybe a list of exactly what you've put in / done to the car would be cool.
