I've seen a guy on this forum with blue LED lights in the openings at the top of the door that show when the door is locked. How in the world do you get that?

That looks like you could just take out and solder a new one in. I haven't played around with those, but I'm guessing it's probably not a plug n play swap.

Here at JWM we're all about honesty to the customer.
Having said that it has come to my attention that the front side markers are a tight fit with these leds. Be aware of that before purchasing them for this application. They will work, but fit tight.

Burning Brakes
I received my rear hatch light today and got them installed. They were cake to put in and look fantastic, much cleaner and nicer look. Jhonathan, thanks for the quick delivery and excellent product, cant wait for the 194 leds for the mirror and license plate. Hey guys, put these in and you will love the new look.

Forgive me if this is a newb question. I've read about LEDs causing battery drain. I'm only interested in switching the foot well and map lights. Do these LEDs have resistors to avoid the battery drain or will leaving the trunk lights in avoid this issue? I read that when you replace all the lights with LEDs the issue happens due to the car lighting system getting confused.

Not true at all. LEDS use less power than stock bulbs.
You will have no problems at all.
It's rare, but on some C6s the map lights will glow a little when leds are installed (car off). This will also not cause any problems since they use so little power.
In these cases we will refund you for the bulbs if you don't like them staying on like that.
