I'm going to remove the seats from my 06 coupe so I can get my DSV covers installed. The two bolts behind the seats are easy. For the front bolts there is a plastic cover over them with what looks like a push pin. Is there some science to removing this pin? Or do I just pull it out?
Seats are real easy to remove. On the front, the two pins you are talking about pull straight out towards the front of the car. The black cover piece will also have to be moved FORWARD before you pull up on it. Otherwise you will break its clip. A 15mm deepwell is great along with a second set of hands.
Connectors will vary depending on your options. There should be a connector in the right seat's seat belt mount area. You will have a couple connectors under the seat. One is like a Circuit Breaker so don't be afraid to pull it. Second should have two safety clips on the end, then you'll pull it apart after disengaging one of the "ears" that hold it together.
I did three sets of seats, all 2LZ/3LT 2008 and up. Third set really took no time at all but we had that deepwell socket.
PM me with your email address and I'll send you some instructions if you wish.
