Brake squeek question..

I put new pads on my 05 vette and every now and then, I here loud squeeks and after a couple of miles of driving there are no more squeeks. Is this some kind of a break in time or something? thanks.

New pads but did you have the rotors resurfaced? If not, and even if so you may need to bed pads. Do a few hard stops from 80-60mph or internet search for bedding brake pads.

Yeah, I think that it will work. Plus, it's about 25 degrees out here and wet, so maybe that may of had something to do with it. Thanks for the reply.
