I am looking to install my DNX 7140 into my vette and want to make sure I will still have the factory chime, bose, and onstar systems working. From what I have read the only thing that changes is the HUD wont work any more, true??
I have found that if I get peripheral accessories for the install that the onstar, door chime, and bose will work, true??

Check the FAQ in the audio section.
Usually all you need is
For Onstar Cars, Bose if not installing an amp:
Peripheral GMAH24B
Peripheral GMAHCM
For Onstar Cars, Bose or Delco if installing an amp:
Peripheral GMAH24
Peripheral GMAHCM
If you are a 2009 and above, you will lose the oem bluetooth. There currently is no adapter for oem bluetooth.
