Do it...ebony Lloyds "mats" look great over OEM cashmere carpeting!
I have a 2012 3LT with two-tone ebony/cashmere interior; I put in ebony Lloyds mats and love the look. However, I went one step further and cut the heel pad area out of a tan vinyl/rubber(?) floor mat and taped it to the Lloyds driver side mat so my heels rest on the mat and don't wear down the Lloyds carpet pile.
The one thing about my car I always wondered about was why GM used the cashmere--light-colored--carpet in the two-tone cash- mere/ebony, but used the ebony--dark-colored--carpet in the two-tone gray/ebony interior. (I've seen photos of a CF member who replaced the entire cashmere interior carpeting with ebony and it looks great, too.)

Mine also, I complained to Lloyds about the black circles on a cashmere mat. They said they don't have tan circles, so I painted mine to match the cashmere mat with my wifes craft paints and then clear coated them for a little more protection. They sit pretty far back on the mat so your feet don't usually touch them.
