I was getting a tech inspection for my 08 z51 today... need new brakes.. wow Corvette tax sucks $650 for the set... Tire rack overnight Hawks $220..... to the rescue they are..
While under the car ..noticed valve stems on the inside of the wheels.. not accessable to the outside... can see slight contact w/ the control arm probably at lock to lock when leaving a parking slot..
called IFORGE to ask about removal and plugs... they replied that they were the TSP valves....is that true.. IForge said on the REV wheels the TSP will not fit on the curved valve stem they use to hide the inflator in the outside face... WEIRD... tell me that is not true..
Where do we get new rotors? I will likely burn these up over the next 4 track classes I have scheduled...
I THINK I understand what you are asking??? I have Iforged wheels and the tire pressure sensor setup that is on the stock wheels do not fit on Iforged. (Atleast they don't on mine.) Iforged uses their own valve stem that come from inside the wheel and stick out a hole to the outside of the wheel. Iforged makes an adapter that mounts the stock TPS/ valve stem assembly inside the wheel so the pressure sensors still work.

So i was getting a track inspection and the very top edge of the valve stem have abrassions from slightly touching the control arm when stearing lock to lock in the parking lot... have to change my behavior or remove the tsp...
