Ceramic Pad Super Special @ GM Parts House

Sorry guys. I had some things to tend to at work this week that really took away from my time and answering questions.
GM does not make a ceramic pad for the Z06, which is why I didn't offer anything.
Anyone who placed an order accidentally for 2 or under the wrong part number(s) got their order fixed.
Yes, we are out of the pads, but my supplier will get us more and when I don't think I can get any more, I'll kill the deal. The best thing is to get your order in so you are in line and when we get them in, we'll ship them out.
Last but not least. Lots of confusion on ordering them. I put them under a special part number for your ordering convenience and also, as I mentioned, that when I cannot get them for that price any longer, I'll kill the number and the price will no longer be valid.
If you want the $106.99 price you must use part number ceramicpads and be sure to select Chevrolet make.

1. Do they dust less than the OEM?
2. How hard are they on the rotors compared to OEM pads?
Getting ready to attend a HSDE at Road America and I'd like to carry a spare set of pads with me.
Great prices btw.

I guess this deal was really popular. I ordered mine on Wednesday and received word on Friday that they were sold out already. Of course they are still going to honor the sale price when the next shipment arrives in 1-2 weeks. Not driving much now do to the weather anyway.

These pads are NOT for track use. They will not perform as well as the stock pads, but for the street it's hard to tell a differece. Ceramic pads will start to fade faster than the stock pads and will not have as much bite when hot. Like I said, you probably won't notice unless you do a bunch of heavy repeated braking. To me they were worth it for the vast reduction in brake dust and the lower noise.
Ceramic is fine for casual use but not the best for serious braking. That's probably why GM doesn't make them for the Z06.

I know the OEM pads work well on the street and at HSDE's (I've seen 160MPH on the track) but how are the "Semimetallic" pads for double duty?

Believe it or not, I've been offering the semi-metallics for about 2 years, give or take, and no one has ordered them...lol. I don't know why either. They are less expensive. Maybe no one wants to be the first? Not a lot of information out there on how well they perform.
Thanks. Gene.

Thank you for the orders. We just ask that customers remain patient. Remember, we have you in line and you are assigned a number. We don't stray from that number and you are taken care of in the order that they were received.
