Got Cam?!?
Okay, quick and simple. I want to hear about everyones experience with their LS3 and how they went about choosing a cam!
I would prefer to hear from LS3 owners because that is the motor I have, but all is welcomed.
From selecting a cam all the way to the size, power, drivability, ect. I want to hear it all!!!
It may be getting close to that time for me and being a new member to the Corvette community, yalls thoughts will help me greatly.

LG G6X3. Its a bigger cam, but man does it sound like a beast and put down alot of power. it drives great, under 1500 rpms is a little difficult to drive until you get used to it.

I personally am not looking for a big aggressive cam. I don’t want my car shaking violently or be incapable of drive at low rpms.
Under 500hp but over 450hp would make me happy.
I'm currently around 350hp and 370tq stock. Don’t ask me why the tq is higher, I think the dyno I used was not that good?!?

I plan on going with an England Green cam. They have a large selection from mild to wild.

Just remember, bigger isn't always better. A lot depends on what you have done to the motor and what your goal is. Don't throw a big camshaft in it just because it sounds good. A camshaft can lead to many other mods if you get to aggresive. If it's an auto you may need to change converters or add gearing for auto or manual. So many things to think about so you need to decide what your long term goal is before you make a choice.

Thanks yall! it looks like Stormcrowe has what I am looking for. I like the Stage one size 224/230 581/590 with a 114 LSA.
Anybody have any thoughts on the stage 2 cam 230/236 590/600 with a 114 LSA.
Is this too much? Again, looking for 450hp but want it driveable!
Keep it comming though would like to hear more opinions!

Of course, it takes more than just-a-cam-swap to get 450hp.
And with all that extra power, you'll want upgrades to wheels, tires, clutch, rear end, suspension...
...my checkbook just went limp.
