Oh My God.. My C6 had Runaway Acceleration!
After reading all the Toyota owners having unintended acceleration, I started to worry about my C6...
I really was not too worried because every person I saw who was interviewed was 65+ yrs old and very ill informed on any automobile function..
i.e. some old lady said she went over a bump and her Preious (sp) just took off "FASTER" than it had ever accelerated in its life..
The newscaster asked if she applied the breaks etc.. she said "I hit the breaks, but it accelerated FASTER...
I'm trying to find out exactly what the problem is so I can do it to my C6....
She was unable to put into neutral, or turn off the ignition? I was thinking of using the Barney Flintstone method put your foot through the floorboard, and drag your foot to stop..
Anyway until I knew about these cars that had "Demon Control" my C6 ran a best of 12.08 @ 115 mph (1/4 mile)
So I took it to a Toyota dealership, and left it parked between two "FEMALE" Preious (sp) ... and wouldn't you know it.. they must have "Mated" during the night because the very next day, I went to the Track and intentionally hit a big bump on the way in...
I made a run and it had unintentional "EXTRA" Acceleration.. and ran 10.45 @ 133 mph...
So from now on before I race it I'll just park it at a Toyota dealership the night before....
Any other suggestions?

Toyota is lucky that most of their cars have extremely boring performance to begin with. There are cars that you really don't remember the drive or think it was interesting and I must say Toyotas fall into that category.

I want my click back, John! Your unintended accel is at a quarter mile track. You're just a motor head.

Melting Slicks
Remember when Al Gores son got nailed in LA for doing 105mph in his Prius?
Not sure if it was a DUI or not, but:
No one really cared about his dopey kid, and everyone asked, "A Prius goes 105?"

As I currently work in Afghanistan i don't get to catch the news that often. Can anyone explain how the sticking gas peddle hinders the operation of the brakes? I can't for the life of me figure out how they couldn't stop their vehicles. Any info that I'm missing.
