Engine clicking noise

Default Engine clicking noise
Started my 08 C6 this morning for the first time in two weeks and heard a noticable clicking noise from the engine for 15-20 seconds. Is it normal for the oil to drain enough to starve the valves and lifters until the oil starts circulating again?

I don't have that problem. As soon as I leave town my wife jumps in and drives the H out of MN6. Glad I didn't get an autobox

I've been wondering about this clicking noise for some time. I chalked it up to normal, but thanks for explaining the reason behind the noise.

MOST LIKEY OIL DRIANED DOWN,BUT SOMETIMES EX. MANIFOLD WILL MIMIC SAME NOISE
