Took the vette out today to warm her up. Disregarded my V1 warning. 55 in a 40 first ticket in 15 years. Oh well at least the cop was a young pretty thing. Thought she was stopping me for the front plate. I knew i should of left the car alone. Ive never taken any of my vettes out in Feb, just had that itch. And traction, there is none!!!!

Welcome to the club. I haven't had one for 17 years until last week.
My V1 was warning me just this afternoon of an approaching CHP officer in a known high-ticket area. Fortunately for me, I was paying attention. Bummer man...we live and learn.
Be glad (or maybe not) that are fines are not income based like the guy in Switzerland received. I don't remember the amount but it was huge.
Also, not to make this a competition, but what is the highest speed a forum member was stopped for?
betw. the photo cameras and not using the v1 for the winter, it's a real drag. esp. since my state seems to not allow even gps-based photo radar detectos. oh well...I do feel your pain.

The 9500ci is undetectable by radar detector detectors and has GPS for the red light cameras. Also you can add trapster onto any Garmin or TomTom GPS or any smart phone for redlight camera alerts.

Is it legal for you to use your NAV to warn you about Red-Light Camera/Photo Radar locations?

Awhile back I remember one guy posting his ticket for something like 144 mph in a 70 zone. It was in Utah and the cop let him go with just the ticket. I wouldn't have believed it if he didn't post a pic.
