Just ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP Runflats in standard size from Wes at Tirerack. Very nice guy. They tires are supposed to be here on Wednesday.
I am sure I will like them more than my 23,000+ miles factory original GY runflats.
I have had mine on for a few thousand miles and they are great. I could not be happier. I had my local Chevy dealer install them and do the alignment.

I have been going to the same goodyear store for 23 years. same service manager. He takes care of all my cars. I am definately looking forward to a set of tires that are quieter than the GY's.
Tires showed up today as quoted by Wes @ Tirerack. They look great. The bad is they will sit in my dining room for the next month or two while I save up for a set of wheels. Still too cold in KC to drive around so I do not mind waiting.
Because they are pretty!. Nah, I have a habit of keeping car parts in the house when I am collecting them. My dining room has my tires, my granddaughter has her scooter and bicycle and swing in it. I actually have a set of hooks so she can swing in the dining room when its too cold here in KC. We eat in the kitchen or living room so the dining room kind of collects stuff.
Well, cold seems to make some difference on my various A/S tires, including the 'vette. Especially below 20'F. But the difference is MUCH less. A/S tires are a big safety improvement when it's cold outside, even if the roads are clear and dry.
