Recently I sent my Z06 C6 Spolier off to A-1 Motorsports for their Plastic Chrome Plating Process. After three plus weeks and several phone calls, the product was returned to me. Not as I had ordered, but actually GOLD plated not Chorme Plated. Also, the clear finished that was baked on after plating, came with several bubbles in the finished product.
After several emails and phone calls, my request for clearification to resolve this manufacturing error have gone un-answered as of today.
You can imagine how a GOLD spolier must appear on a Arctic White Vette.
The photo's that Murray has shown on the Forum really were a nice Chrome Plated Finish, just the thing that would enhance this item:

Gold plated spoiler!!!??? You be ballin' now son! You need to get you some of those fake port holes from AutoZone and throw a few down the front fenders for good measure!!!
On a serious note thanks for bringing this vendor's lack of communication to light. Hopefully you'll get the issue rectified as painlessly as possible.
Do appreciate the replys and further information on this vendor. Thought the Chrome Plated spolier would add a little touch to the arctic white, would not stand out like the black spolier does. Maybe they will finally cummunicate with me, a refund would be nice. I can always have the GOLD one painted black:

Get a refund, and have the gold plated one painted White, to match your car.
Do have the factory OEM Spolier Painted Arctic, my photo does not show it, but that is exactly what my wife said this morning, put the white one back on...

This is a good CF vendor
I ordered mats from them and they sent the wrong ones, I called and they fixed the problem,on the first call,no runaround. I am considering one of their spoilers with the LED light, just not sure if I want it painted or leave it stock black that matches my black vert top.

Yep, probably is, but does he do Plastic Chrome Plating? That is the issue here. I'm sure all of us have many good vendors we have purchased from, I could nbame a few myself, but here we are talking about a bad one:

Not sure if he does the chrome plating, but he would be a good one for you to deal with for other items. Since you're in Paulding and he's in Cobb, you could drive over to his house if there was an issue.
Edited to say that Artic White is probably the only color that you could pull off a chrome spoiler with.

Have in fact purchased two sets of embroidered floor and cargo mats for the corvette and gto, well pleased with what he does, good vendor.
Sorry to hear about your misfortunes with this vendor, but I have to ask, "What were you thinking"?
I think you will be better off with it matching the body color.

My thoughts were to have the spoiler chromed, that way it would be more obvious than just being painted white, which as you know kind of blends in and not as noticeable, the black of couse on a white car is to much:

I placed an order with them that didn't make sense to them (options on lloyd's mats) and they called to ensure that I ordered what I wanted. It was my mistake and they saved me big time. Great Vendor!!

I would probably photoshop it first just to get an idea of how it would look. But that's just me.
btw... Do you recognize the location of my Avatar?
