I have a 2009 C6 Z51. I cut the bushings in the rear completely off and turned the bolts all the way. Im happy with how much it lowered but the rear end now has an annoying squeeking noise when i go over bumps. Can anyone advise if they have encountered this problem when cutting the bushings? Im assuming it might be the shocks but im not sure. Please help?
Not surprised as you basically just made the same thing that most of the aftermarket lowering bolts consist of. My aftermarket ones did the same thing so I switched to the ones from Hardbar. If you have not done so, you may want to try putting a little grease on the lower A Arm where the pad rests.
It is best to leave some bushing there and put grease. They sell a small piece you can insert, but the squeek is definitely from you removing the entire bushing

DUDE, WHAT MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD REMOVE THE RUBBER BUSHING COMPLETELY AND NOT HAVE NOISE! Now you have metal to metal contact between the lowering bolt and the spring! You need to buy some lowering bolts with the rubber on them and re-level your car.

Thats it! I always leave about an 8th of an inch on the adjusting bolt and then put some marine grease on the bottom of the remaining rubber, no squeak!

If you are metal-to-metal, the grease will be a very temporary fix. You can get the rubber caps from vendors like Ecklers or get some lowering bolts with the caps on them.
