Winter Project....................
As anyone done this and if so what product did you use?
Were you satisfied with the results.
Thanks
Given your labor/time, you can just buy a precut kit for about $100. MadVette Motorsports was selling a complete C6, precut kit for $100. Reduces sound and heat. This is the kit I purchased. Easy to install and works great. I don't see any listed on their website right now, but send them an email and see if he has any or plans to make a few more kits up anytime soon. Lots of members here on the forum have installed this kit.
I only have pictures of the front floor, but the kit includes material for the entire rear hatch area and doors as well.

I am not looking to do it in a day, still have a few more weeks of winter to get through.
Would have jumped at $100.
Thanks for the info

I know most here in the general section have bought precut kits and most from MadVette's. Even at $150, you can't beat the price. Any good material alone is going to cost you at least half that much, if not more.
And again I will tell you this is nothing more than a day or two project. If you want it to last for 3 weeks, then take out the interior, let the car sit like that for 2 1/2 weeks and then put it back together.
Use the search function at the top also and you will find may threads relating to heat reduction and sound deadening.
Not trying to be a clown, but you really are making this way harder than it is.
Really!!!!!!! I am just looking for information on the best material (there is alot product out there)available and if I save $50 bucks I save $50. All the suppliers say their's is the best There is nothing hard about the install, just want the best product for the job.
