Credit card issues
Has anyone had fraudulent credit card charge issues after ordering on line for your Corvette accessories? Specifically, I had to cancel a card yesterday because of fraudulent charges in Europe and REDLINE (nice leather shift boots) in Poland is the only charges I’ve made outside the USA, lately. I’m not casting dispersions on the company, but one of their employees could be the problem. Anyone else?

Start using a Virtual Credit Card Number for all on-line purchases. Do this and you'll never have to worry about someone scamming your number for fraudulent purchases.

I've had my credit card number compromised a twice in the past 18 months...and I'm fairly certain it was from on-line purchases. A guy in my office told me about virtual card numbers...and I've been using them ever since.

Yes! I used it for a CarFax report once and my card number started getting weird charges on it! It was being used for monthly charges to things like magazines. BEWARE.

Also, don't think that you are being safer by calling a company and ordering over the phone. Most of the time, you just get a person on the phone who is entering the information that you give them into the same website that you were hoping to avoid by calling.

No not here nothing Corvette related. But I have had unauthorized charges done on my account all were on line and out of this country. It brought up red flags to credit card company and they called me to verify usuage. They ordered the strangest things from renting videos to buying cigaratte patches, stamp collection of which none came to my address. They weren't big dollar purchases most expensive was like $55.00 I wouldn't have known until I got billing if credit card company didn't call me first..

I had one a few years back someone got hold of my card number I use on line and charged up about 1000 I just reported it to the company and sent in an noterized statment saying i did not ake the charges and everything was dropped right there.
