I removed/did not use the peel-and-stick stuff so I can remove the spoiler and clean and wax under it every couple of years. The 6 bolts hold it down with no issues.

I installed ours with the bolts so if I want to remove it for cleaning I can do it and mostly to make sure it stayed down
