Default Sway bars installed!

I installed the upgraded sway bars I purchased from Gene awhile back during his holiday sale. I had them powder coated and finally installed them last weekend. There was a little break in the weather here in Northeast Ohio last Saturday so I went out for a drive. What a difference! It doesn't drive like a Buick any more. Nice crisp control now. Next up are the Koni FSDs.

First performance mod...its great. Any of a number of shocks will be a huge improvement when coupled with this.

Yes, I did this shortly after getting my 2010 coupe. I didn't powder coat mine though.

Nice touch. Looks great and I know it drives better now.

The powder coat looks fantastic. It's a crying shame you have to lay on the ground to be able to see them!

Default Bilstein HD shocks.

Did the sway bar in the front and back and changed the shocks to Bilstein hd gas shocks. Sticks like glue to the turns. I guess I now have 2005 FE1/Z51 suspension.

To be fair though, it never did. It already outhandled 99.99 % of the cars on the road. You'll love the combo with new shocks....

Looks great, makes me wish I had mine powder coated. Wait till you get the Konis on! I went with the Pfadt adjustable shocks, but the Konis are great shocks. On the base Vette, the Z51 sways with new shocks is a great combination.

No clunking ... at least not yet. I followed the instructions in the service manual. I did the front first and the manual said nothing about preventing the end link fasteners from spinning, so of course I did. When I got to the back there was a note about not letting the fastener rotate, go figure. So, time will tell if there's a clunk. If so, I guess then it's time for new end links. Live and learn.

In the front yes, from behind you can actually see the sway bar from a distance. Subtle, I know but why not.

Very nice touch with the PC Sways and I also have a base coupe with Z51 bars and I have the Koni FSD shocks that I took off my C5 when I went to coil overs and these are an awesome shock for our daily driver. My car rides smoother and more predictable over bumps and grooves in the road, oh the car no longer rolls in turns, no the Vette stays on the line I put her in during a turn and less effort is required to stay on the line I chose. On our KDWs I have seen .98g and this was at triple digits so I was really working the entire suspension

Did it drive like one when you got it?

All joking aside, I really like the way the sway bars look powdercoated. I will have to do the same when I put mine on.
