They'd either have to flatbed it or have a gun to your head and take your fob ... I wouldn't worry about it being stolen
Well I'm not really concerned about it being stolen. I was more curious as to whether the 09+ Corvettes could be slowed or stopped via OnStar. I guess the final answer on that is no.
My free 1yr OnStar subscription expires on the 25th of this month which is what got me to thinking about all of its capabilities, hence the original question.
Interesting feature but do not depend on Onstar if your vehicle gets stolen, although it would deter the novice car thief. A device like Lojack is better option in this situation.
I could be mistaken, but I think only police departments in larger cities are equipped with Lojack tracking devices.

If you knew how both systems worked you might not be saying that. The ONLY advantage to lojack is that the signal might still be picked up even if the vehicle is parked in an underground steel or concrete enclosure OR a random police officer may run across the signal if his tracking is on.
Lojack uses RF (radio frequency) and not all police departments have the tracking equipment. It uses doppler typs scanning and only shows them the general direction of the signal. Lojack is OLD technology.
OnStar uses actual GPS, don't be fooled by lojack's smear marketing, it is still fairly accurate even when the vehicle is in garage or covered area. Your GPS on your phone works pretty good indoors right?
The both have their pros and cons, but I will say you have a much better chance of getting your car back if you know what STATE it's in!
Lojack is virtually useless if you live in a metropolitan area and the thief drives your car out to BFE the next state over.
