Default 2011 GS Debut

Hi guys,
I believe I read it here, somewhere, that the 2011 GS will debut at the NCM next month. Anyone know if this is accurate? Also, any word on when they will be available to order.

Whats the lasted word in the rumor mill as to expected changes on the 2011 GS.

Thanx.

Default Yes it is true

Should roll-out at the C5/C6 Bash. Expect changes to the ZO6 including use of some of the ZR1 parts, Mirrors, etc....

Haven't heard that the GS will be changing but you never know

All the 2011 vette's will be on display at the C5/C6 Birthday Day bash.

I believe 2011 is the Year of the Z06. It's about time the current Z has changed very little since it's release back in 06.

Thanks for the info, guys. Am I correct in assuming that once the GS is unveiled at the NCM bash, GM will be ready to receive orders?

The problem is the last day to put in an order for a 2010 is April 29th, and the 2011 details will be unveiled on the 30th. I know I am ordering a GS convertible, but I'd like to know there's not going to be some kind of substantial change (i.e. horsepower or F55 suspension) available for 2011 before I buy 2010. For people like us, hopefully there will be more credible leaks prior to the bash.

Just a suggestion as I went through this 2 years ago. If you know you are going to order a car for sure, work with one of the Forum dealers ahead of time. Put together a 2010 order, maybe submit it, maybe not, be guided by the dealer. If there is a desirable 2011 change, then you can change the order.

In actuality, unless things are different now, the last 2010 orders will be picked up in the computer the following Tuesday, May 4, so there "should be" time to react and change. Might want to investigate at least.

Yup. What Rick said. That way you're sure to get what you want no matter what happens with the 2011 models.

Thanks guys, that sounds like a good plan. I did plan on contacting a few of the forum dealers to try to get the best price anyway so hopefully this will work out.

Did museum delivery 3/10/06.......

Took the factory tour on 3/9 + 3/10....At that time they had 6- 2007 C6's on the line......

So they make a few cars for the next model year around the beginning of March.

They always have them on display at the Museum Bash.....
