Default Tune for Cat alteration
Yes, you should tune. Your DIC will throw a code and check engine lite will not extinquish till you do.

Just remember though - if you tune, GM may not honor future warranty claims. Don't know if this applies to your car or not (no profile info), but it may be something to think about.
