Did GM "decontent" the 2LT (vert) between 2009 and 2010 ? The cost of that option decreased slightly this year, is something missing ? Bob

For convertibles, the 2LT had been the entry level pkg since '05. Now they've gone to a 1LT vert and 2LT is the first up level option group. I think they are trying to respond to complaints of too much of a premium to get into a vert. Might that be what you are asking about?

Rick, I THOUGHT the first year for the 1LT convertible was 2009 and 2LT was a step up. I agree that in 2008 the 2LT was the "base" convertible. My question still stands what is missing from the 2010 2LT that was in the 2009 2LT convert. Thanks, Bob

I belive that side impact airbags used to be part of the 2lt option package, but now they are standard on all vettes. Removing that doesnt leave a whole lot of upgrades between the 1lt and 2lt so they may have decreased the price for that reason.

I've got 2 different files I saved that supposedly list the changes from 2009 to 2010. Neither of them seems to indicate any "decontent."

Note that although the 2009 to 2010 2LT went down by $350, the 2009 to 2010 3LT went up by $350.

Thanks Jim....I had a memory that there was a slight price decrease but I couldn't find any documentation.
