I had my C6 lowered at West Coast Corvettes. They did a great job and it looks great. One slight problem now, I can’t find any shops willing to do a oil change on my Vette. They all claim that the Vette is too low to drive up their bay ramps. Does anyone know of a shop they can recommend that can handle lowered Vette’s around the San Bernardino or Riverside county area in Southern California? I could go to WCC to get the oil change, but there like 1 hour away. Thanks.
My wife's C6 is seriously lowered. The oil gets changed at the dealer where the car was purchased and they have no trouble getting it on their lifts. You just need the right equipment.
I have a local father and son shop with a pit, with no side rails to scrape. All they do is oil and inspections, and I even bring the oil and filter, costs $12. However, like everyone else said, you just need some 2X4s to get you up on most shop ramps.
[QUOTE=filmjay;1573408112]My tire guy just stacks a couple 2x4 scraps at the end of the lift. A slow roll up on the wood and all the needed clearance is right there.
