Default Quick question on tire width

The tire section seems to be lagging and I'm kind of under the gun to make a decision on my tires, so any help is greatly appreciated.

My 08 C6 Z51 takes the obvious 285/35/19 (rear). Looking at getting some of those G Force KDW, which seem to get great all around reviews here. The question. Do I stick with the 285, or do I bump it up to 295? I've read a few posts where guys say to go with the wider tire.

Thanks

295/35 is the way to go for the KDW's...

295. The stock Goodyears are already a little wider than most 285-series tires. If you go with a 285 in a different brand, it will look narrower than the stock Goodyear tire.
