Once you have a solid API in place, cross platform integration isn't the end of the world. You just have to find someone willing to do all of the dirty work
one thing that I've seen across both platforms(which I don't think an IBForums support) is tapatalk. Like the theory, don't really like the product though.
I've thought about this before as well...I'd even pay a few bucks for the app if someone could write it. Does anyone even know if the CF has an API for such a thing?
I would also love an iphone app for the forum. I have tried doing through the built-in browser, but the time delay while every advertisement on the page loads kills the experience with delay after delay after delay when clicking on threads.

I am sending this from my iPhone. I have no problem with the speed but I am using wi-fi rather than 3G or Edge. An app specific to this forum could have some advantages but I doubt that it would ever pay enough to cover minimum wage.

I think having the forum itself iPhone friendly would be cool. Some forums are integrated in with an app that allows you to shake the phone to post or refresh. I believe supraforums is like that. Might want to look into something like that.
I too would love an iPhone app. Many forums run on vBulletin software. I think we need to direct our attention to encouraging vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com/) to create a mobile interface for their software.
Vbullettin is owned/maintained/written by the same company that owns this forum. I have to believe that they are working heavily on something mobile-based with numbers of mobile users out there.
There is an easy way to gain iPhone support for the forum. There is a vbulletin plugin called 'tapatalk', it's free for the admin to install, they make their money buy the end user buying the iPhone app. There is little to no effort on the admin besides installing the plugin. We use it on our local board and it's really nice.
I read from my Iphone all the time. Replying to things at times is tricky; not sure what advantages an APP would have?
WHAT I would like to see if a way to post pics directly to CF as opposed to loading them to a 3rd party web site first. If the App allowed this that would be
