Splash Guards
Question for those who have installed splash guards: How far do they stick out past edge of fender? Thanks!

There are several types of splash guards available, factory plus aftermarket models, so it's difficult to answer your question specifically.
What kind were you thinking of?

Here's some pics of my splash guards purchased from
www.apsisusa.com .
They do an excellent job of preventing paint damage to the rocker and quarter panels.
Plus they look great!

The GM ones are almost not even noticeable.

I think the best looking and less unobtrusive and work well as designed are the GM variety but you'll have to eyeball some yourself in real life and see for yourself.

The GM guards stick out about 1 inch or so. Just enough to be effective but not enough to be real noticable especially if you have a black car. Takes about 30 min. to put them on.

You can't notice the GM ones even on a bright Atomic Orange car. I don't have any pics of them yet though.
