Came out of the show last night, and found some nice magic marker work on the hood of my car. Thank God the idiot didn't see the clear bra that he wrote on. If i could only be lucky enough to run into someone doing this, it would make my day.
I would end up in jail, but it would be a nice visit.

Not good for sure. Don't think I would be driving the Vette to a movie where it is going to be sitting for a few hours in a crowded parking lot with me not around.

good old school values and respect for others property aren't taught today, IMHO of course. sad, very sad. just like the fact that you have to teach pets not to pee on the carpet...they don't pick that up by themselves.

Yes, there are a lot of jealous people out there that have no respect for others property. The last time I went to the theater in my Corvette someone threw a drink all over one side.

Also, vandalism or rudeness sometimes is done for "just something to do" by kids. I always pick up rocks in my driveway because if a child sees a rock, they feel compelled to throw it. If they see a stick, compelled to hit stuff with it. Once during a tune-up, I took all my new spark plugs out of the wrappers and lined them up, set the gaps, went in to get a beverage, and came out to see 7 plugs. I was so disappointed.

Never bring your vette to the movie theater (too many kids around while your car is left unattended).

Because of that certain something new vettes exude to the general public, I find myself driving the C4 4 out of 5 times a week.

Learned that the hard way years ago when someone keyed our new car one night, while going to a restaurant downtown. I didn't know it until filling up with gas the next day. Man was I mad . . . for a while. Never will do that in my vette.

Did they draw a *****?

I see an awful lot of threads here with Vettes vandalized, quite often featuring representations of the male generative organ. There's a research grant in it somewhere...

stories like this **** me off. It is just ridiculous that you can't even go anywhere without people messing with your car. Something about a newer vette draws $%^&^%g stupid people around to do dumb things.

I would not want to run into anyone doing this, because it would be a long visit.

Yeah I feel the same way..... I'm pretty sure I would be arrested though if I caught someone in the act of messin' with my car!

Sorry to hear that happened. Don't know if it makes a difference on paint, permanent or washable magic marker. Hope it's the latter tho. (the zaino folks are just about to chime in and say, nothing stickes to zaino!)

Most permanent markers are alcohol based. Just put some denatured alcohol on a rag and it will wipe right off.

Good advice, even though I often violate it and my nerves are on end each time I do it.

I try to park directly out in front of the theatre so that myself, or anyone else can see the car through the front windows of the theatre building, from the concession areas or ticket booths.

This last time I returned, to find a black Z06 parked right next to mine.

Apparently the owner had the same idea. Park it in view if you want to take it at all.
