To all the c6 owners I am posting a ? What is the difference between the corvette c6 and
and any other sport car out thair. To those that have experiance other car brand, what do
you like about the vett better than the others. Thanks for your post.
I guess it justs comes down to what you are looking for. Al least for me it is one of the most versatile sports cars every built. It has a decent ride, meaning it is very easy to make long trips in. At least with the coupe you have lots of luggage space. The wife and I load up 2 sets of clubs plus luggage and can take off for weeks at a time. It is reliable enough that it works fine for a daily driver. And of course it is at home on the track. And of course its highway mileage is better than most so called economy cars.
The only thing it won't do is carry more than 2 people.
Too funny. Don't get me wrong, I love my vette but I would not call it elite with over 1.5 million vettes produced. The Dodge viper has fewer produced from 1992 to 2010 than the vettes produced in a single year. Love the vette but they are not elite.

The Corvette is an American icon of automotive history. If you are one of the few that is lucky enough to own one no matter what the year, you are very fortunate. Corvette is a state of emotion and in many ways a lifestyle. Have you ever been to a meeting of the Lincoln Town Car Club? No! Look at the faces of Corvette people when they get together they can't wait to discuss the latest mods and other related Corvette info. Corvette in an emotion wrapped in fiberglass, or whatever these things are made out of now!
Oh man, there is just little comparison to anything else. I've had several Mustangs, a Dodge Challenger, and several Camaro's...none of them can even come close. I've ridden in a Porsche, a number of BMW's, Honda's, a Lotus, and....well, I can't remember what else, but it doesn't matter because the Vette is Top Dog when it comes to horsepower, torque, weight, handling, and low Coefficient of Drag. No, it's not a luxury car, but that's not why I bought one....I don't give two hoots about luxury besides a CD player and a GPS, that's it!
I'm going to show my age now. The first sports car I ever owned was a 1969 442 Olds at the age 16 followed by a 1983 Cross Fire Z28, followed by a 1985 Tuned Port Z28, followed by a 1988 5.7 Tuned Port IROC Z28, years later at 47 my first C6-06 Z51 LMB Corvette M6. When I was 16 at home just before I purchased my Olds my dad let me drive his Mustang "Yuk". While still at the age of 16 my uncle let me drive his L82 Corvette right then I knew one day I would have my own. Now owning my own there is no comparson to the others. There is only one true sports car. Yes I said it the "CORVETTE". TIM$VETT

I joined the "club" with the purchase of my first Corvette, a well-used '56 purchased in 1959 and have enjoyed them ever since! I've owned Porsches and BMWs but have always come back to Corvette.

"Exclusive", no.... "Elite", most definitely indeed....
Belonging to an "Elite" club is defined by achieving a certain plateau and not by the number of people within a similar state of circumstances, which would make them "exclusive"....
Sports car owning kangaroos are an "exclusive" bunch.... Corvette owning Eskimos belong to an "exclusive" segment of Corvette owners.... Most Corvette owners belong to an "Elite" club....
Well, almost everyone... The guy that owns this POS is in a class by himself....
