Default Wind Breaks?

I'm thinking of purchasing a wind break from West Coast for $400.00 +. Can someone tell me if they work. It would be nice at high speeds.

I have the C6 Vette Net on my 07 C6, which I got from Mid America. It looks a little simpler to install and works fairly well. The instructions do tell you that it will work better with the windows up, although I never do that.
Here is a link to the Vette Net http://www.vettenet1.com/MainPage.html
Check out their FAQ page.

I have 2010 GS converible on order that I ordered with the GM windscreen

I don't know about the West Coast one, but just make sure you know whether it can be used with the top up, or must be removed first. I thought that most have to be removed before you put the top up.

Just ordered the GM windscreen from Stonebriar Chevrolet online for $355 shipped to NC. Best pricing that I could find online. Will let you know how difficult the install winds up to be. Couldn't be that bad, but there is some cutting of the carpet behind the seat on each side.

Oh yeah- the GM model includes the storage bag that others charge ~$50 for. Why wouldn't one want the storage bag? Seems strange that vendors would charge extra for necessary storage bag. Just my opinion though.

I bought the GM version and had it installed at the dealership. I've driven with it many times and it works very well. BUT, it only really works with the windows up. With the windows down only some of buffeting is reduced.

Installation involves some cutting into plastic trim. I seriously considered buying one until I learned that they all have to be removed before the top can be raised. That really defeats the purpose of having a power top.

Taking them on and off is not a much of a task. You just pull it up and put it in the storage bag. They just slip in and out of their brackets.

You can find many, many posts on this if you do a search. I have the GM one and am very happy with it. It cuts out about half the turbulence. Yes, you have to remove it before you put the top up. It only takes about 1 minute to snap the windscreen out of the brackets and put it in the trunk. It takes longer to put it in the storage bag then it does to remove it.
