Default Upper control arm

I searched and couldn't find any info on this. My upper control arm has a nasty squeak when I go over bumps. It's the passenger side. When I jack the car up I can feel it when I put my finger on the bushings. At first I didn't know where it was coming from. It's coming from the upper control arm bushings. I put wd40 on it and it hasn't helped. Any ideas before I take it to the dealer? It's a 2008 with Z51 It's like a creaking sound. Thanks, any info would be great.

I tried grease and went for 200 mi ride today. It didn't help. The creaking sound was still there when the car got hot. I guess I'll take it to the dealer unless someone has any ideas.

Since it is still under warranty let dealer solve problem, good luck!

I found out when I brought it to the dealer the previous owner put poly bushings on the upper control arm. Any ideas how to lube the bushings?

You have to disassemble them. This will have to be repeated every so often. Some people drill holes in the control arm so they can install zerk fittings for subsequent lubrication of the bushings. If you do a search you may find a thread or two where people discuss installing the zerks.

Put ZERK in "seach" box, too many came up so you might have to do a little searching of threads for what you want.

You can just take the control arms and have the hard bushings pressed out and rubber ones pressed in...no need to replace them.
