Check available stock around the country. Corvette sales still stink and currently there are more cars on dealers lots than have been sold in the Jan-Mar period. March sales were less than 1,000 once again. Dealers need to move stock on hand. Lots of Z-06, GS and even ZR-1s available. Beat them down for a deal instead of ordering, waiting and paying more,.
Now seems like a good time to order. I ordered my Grand Sport on March 8 and it went into production yesterday. Which was a few days ahead of when it was scheduled
Is it still possible to order 2010 Vettes? Is this generally the best way to get a low price on exactly what you want? What are wait times?
Hello,
You should still be able to order a 2010 Corvette. The build out date is approximately 6/10/10. Your order has to be in at least six to eight weeks before that date. You will want to speak with your local dealership to verify that they will be able to get the order in. As for time to get the vehicle once you put the order in, this typically takes six to eight weeks. All pricing inquiries will have to be quoted by the dealer though. Hope this helps.
Thanks guys- Is 200 over invoice too much? Thats a quote I got yesterday on an ORDER of a 2LT with not much else, but thats local dealership. The thing is I'm up tight about what I want- Im not spending 60k. Ideally a 2LT Auto STOCK from that point is FINE, more than enough for me. What interest rates are we talking? I know there are incentives on 2009s, but nothing on 2010.
The 2010s in stock around here are too loaded for what I want. I'm looking at Mculkin site, they have some 47k out the door 2LTs...thats my range, and even minus some of the F55 stuff etc...45k+ TTL out the DOOR at a good rate is what I want.
Also have to figure in snow tires since this is a DD, and possibly a car cover.
I noticed all the forum dealers have a lot of certified pre-owned vettes, I wonder if that would be a better way to go? It seems like you can get a lot more bang for the buck. Certified extended warranty seems safe enough. Anyone buy pre-owned certified? I'd love a 3LT with Nav with low miles....maybe thats a smarter deal since there are no incentives for interest rates on 2010s anyway.

Definitely talk to Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin.
You won't find a better price and no BS. You can thank me later.
I don't know where you live, but in PA. if you buy a car out of the state, you get a temp tag and then register the car in PA later. AAA shoulc be able to do this for you.
