Question? Are the replacement brake pads in GM bulletin 1682442 for the C6 Z51 part #'s 89060211 and 88964095 the same AC Delco Dura Stop pads in Ecklers # 41257/41258? GM wants $ 171 & 143 vs. Ecklers $ 110/76? Thx. BC
GM bulletin 1682442/PIC3320A is an older one. The problem is these bulletins get updated all of the time so one never knows when something has been replaced. I found PIC3320H which speaks to the rear pads on a Z51 making noise. Never the less the bulletin almost tells the same story only new replacement part numbers.
I cannot tell you if Ecklers' part numbers cross over to AC Delco. I can tell you this. Genuine GM/Mr. GoodWrench brake pads are different than the AC Delco Dura Stop pad. GM pads should be the OE pad and will be more expensive than the AC Delco pad. AC Delco is GM's aftermarket division.
I would suggest that you contact Ecklers and have them confirm that what they have in stock is the AC Delco pads in the AC Delco box. That would be the only way I would make that purchase.
On a side note I do believe that Gene has a "special" going on that is a better price than what Ecklers has. Also Gene is a forum vendor.
call gene at gmpartshouse. he has the delco pads on sale still or i dunno if he still does but did last week. the whole set for 107 plus shipping. they are for z51 too. mine are being put in the morning
