If all goes well, does the TPW signify the week production begins, or the week production ends?

"Targeted Production Week", generally a Monday, so the START of a production week.

Note that it's "targeted", not firm or promised. No guarantee that they'll hit the target. May start the week before or the week after, it's just "targeted".

I had a TPW of 04.05 for the last couple of weeks, and it was actually built on 04.07, mid point of the week.

I think then that TPW is the week the build finishes. Given that a build takes up to four days, your TPW of 4.05 means that the build could have started the prior week, and finished this Wednesday. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

A vehicle that starts one week and finishes the next (second) week has a TPW of the second week. Correct?

TPW = Target Production Week.

Example, my 2010 GS had a "TPW" of 12DEC2010 that it was locked into for a number of weeks preceding that week.

It actually rolled off of the assembly line on Thursday, 17DEC2010 in my presence.

Congrats and patience at this point.

I ordered my GS the first week of September 2009, delivery from my local dealership was first week of January 2010, followed by storage in my garage since then.

The wait is worth every minute of it.

Regards,

GSRANDY

The TPW date is usually a Monday, the first day of a week. Doesn't matter if it starts or finishes that week it's just a targeted week starting on the published Mon date.

Ditto! My TPW was also 04.05, and it was built on Wednesday 04.07, waiting for an update Monday morning. ANTICIPATION is a very mild word to use at this point!
